SMS Terms & Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

This policy explains how we use text messaging (SMS), how consent is obtained, how you can stop receiving messages, and how your information is handled. It applies to all text messages sent by our licensed insurance agents to clients and prospective clients.

How we obtain your consent

Consent is obtained verbally during a recorded telephone call with a licensed insurance agent. During that call, the agent asks whether you agree to receive text messages regarding your insurance coverage. If you say yes, your consent — including the date, time, and the audio of the call itself — is recorded and retained in our system.

We do not purchase phone numbers or send text messages to anyone who has not personally given verbal consent on a recorded call.

Consent is never a condition of purchase. You are not required to agree to receive text messages in order to buy insurance, receive a quote, or work with one of our agents. Declining costs you nothing.

What messages you will receive

Messages are customer care and service messages relating to insurance coverage you hold or have inquired about. Examples include:

Message frequency

Message frequency varies and depends on your interactions with your agent. Most clients receive only a small number of messages per month.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for text messages; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply.

How to stop receiving messages (opt out)

Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will be unsubscribed immediately and permanently, and you will receive one final message confirming that you have been opted out. No further messages will be sent to that number.

You may also opt out by telling your agent on any call, or by contacting us using the details below. Any of these methods will stop the messages.

Reply HELP at any time for assistance, or contact us using the information below.

Supported carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy — how your information is handled

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

Protected health information

We handle health-related information in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA where it applies. Text messages are limited in content and we avoid including sensitive health information in SMS. Sensitive matters are handled by phone or through a secure channel.
